Getting approved for AdSense is sometimes a frustrating task when AdSense rejects your website and you often don’t know the reason. Although you have put enough content and it’s not related to any prohibited category. But there is an obvious reason for everything. Most of the times, the reason is: The content doesn’t comply with AdSense Guidelines. Here is a complete and easy guide that will lead you to AdSense approval.
AdSense account creation
To create account on AdSense, you need an active blog or website. You’ll have to submit your details to apply for AdSense account. Usually it takes around 48-72 hours to review but after COVID has hit the world, most of the times it takes maximum of 2 weeks to get the AdSense approved.
Here is a checklist for you before applying for AdSense approval. Here we go without further ado:
Remove blank links
Usually the biggest reason due to which your AdSense request gets declined is the blank links in your content. These links show that the website is still underdevelopment and doesn’t contain complete data which is against the AdSense guidelines. By blank links we mean the links that have “#” instead of a proper URL. So, remove all the links with “#” inside them and replace them with proper links.
Have enough data
According to our research and experience, you should have at least 20 posts before applying for AdSense. Although AdSense can approve your site with 3-5 posts as well. The data shouldn’t consist of blank posts or posts with very short content. AdSense will not approve your website if it contains very short content. We’ll discuss this in details in coming sections.
Keep enough word count
The word count for each of your post should be at least 300, although this word count is below par for modern blogging needs. We recommend keeping it at 600 so your blog or website could be ranked well at the same time. More the word count, more your site ranks for search engines. Format the content properly
You should format your content with proper headings, paragraphs, and images. If you will put only a paragraph in your content without headings, it will not be reader friendly that google doesn’t like for its partner sites displaying its ads. So, stay reader friendly and format the content properly.
No “image-only” content
The image or media only content will cause problems in approval of the AdSense. So, if you have image rich content, you need to add some text based content to get approved by AdSense. Keep your blog or website text rich to have maximum chances of getting approved otherwise AdSense may reject approval saying that you don’t have enough content.
These were some of the major mistakes blogger make before applying for AdSense monetization. So, we’ve put all the reasons together to help you approving your website quickly for displaying ads. Happy blogging.
