Make sure you have enough topics in your selected niche to continue making content. Use the right keywords; perform some research before your every article you write. Use the free version and extension of best keyword tool Ubersuggest.

Before starting, make a list of at least 50 topics that you can write related to your niche. It is much necessary and if you can’t make a list of 50 relevant topics, you should search another topic for your blog, otherwise you’ll be out of ideas after five or ten posts and won’t further continue it, most probably. You should make templates of your content, plan its frequency; which should not be less than 3 times per week; and keep going like this. JUST DON’T STOP! Read articles related to your content and make content out of it. Don’t forget to refer to the sources where possible; it adds to your credibility as a new blogger. 

Writing the Right

After selecting your niche from the category you like, you should focus on your most important thing onwards is “writing the right!”. Use the keywords wisely that have high value and have good search volume. Now, the question is, how do you find the right keywords for your blogs? I will recommend using a free tool called Ubersuggest by Neil Patel. It’s a great keyword research tool recently acquired by Neil Patel and you can use it for free. It has limited free version but you can bypass it by using Ubersuggest Chrome extension. Search your intended keyword and you can determine its value, competition and relevant word suggestions. 

Length & Format

The next big thing is the word count of your articles and formatting it in a right way. The word count should be a minimum of 400, and it should be formatted properly. You should make headings; they matter in boosting your blog’s search ranking. According to our stats, you should use a minimum of 3 h2 headings, and as many as h3 headings to keep the things right on track. More you add to word count, and headings, more you outrank your competitors in search rankings. Word count is important, and you should write articles featuring a minimum of 400 words. Use 3 or more h2, h3 headings. 

Start a blog for free or with minimum budget

If you use this free subdomain for your blog, you must be more consistent with your content and wait for around six months to make it monetized by Google AdSense. You can use other options during this period like infolinks, but audience is more important. More audience, the more you generate income. So, it is recommended that while using free subdomain, push your rank up, and write on a consistent basis, until six months, you should be generating a handy income with a good amount of content. 

Getting a domain

The other better option is using a custom domain that costs around 3-4 dollars, and after writing content on daily basis, and getting it monetized after around 1 to 1.5 months. It will establish your brand and a professional domain without any branding of BlogSpot. But writing the quality content on regular basis is the must follow condition. But still in this process, you’ll start generating good pocket money in six months. 

Starting with WordPress

This is our recommended option for starting a blog. It’s because WordPress offers you free platform to manage and customize your content with piece of mind. But you have to pay for domain as well as hosting of the data. WordPress only manages the content, needing an external host. But always start with WordPress.org, not WordPress.com.

Your first income from blogging
